(MAH-CET) Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is a online management entrance test. it also known as MAH-MBA/MMS-CET examination. This Exam is schedule organize and conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, state Maharashtra. MAH-CET is require for admission to various management courses such as MBA/MMS, BE/B Tech, MCA, B.HMCT, M.HMCT, M ARCH in govt institute, colleges, university or any private institutes in the state of Maharashtra.

The state of Maharashtra carried out centralize admission process (CAP) for management courses it includes MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM. Mah-CET exam divided in multiple sessions, Competent Authority, using standardized equi-percentile method which corresponding scores for all sessions. Here further in the post we will describe information about MAH-CET (MBA Enterance Exam) for management courses admission.

MAH-CET Exam Pattern

MAH-CET examination is having total 200 questions. the time duration allotted is 150 Minutes (2 and half Hours). All the question are multiple choice objective questions. candidate need to choice correct answer.

In Maharashtra there are some business schools who also consider and accept MAH-CET scores. such as Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Management Studies & Research, K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and more.

As per new update from year 2017 Students other than Maharashtra need to have appear for CMAT examination to get eligible for management colleges admissions in Maharashtra .

MAH-CET 2018 Eligibility

Please check the latest eligibility criteria for MAH-CET:

  • Interested Candidates must have a pass bachelors’ degree with minimum 50% Marks in any discipline from any recognized university. For reserve category candidate eligibility is 45% marks.
  • Student who appearing in final year bachelor’s degree can also apply.
  • Candidates who previously appearing for CAT / GMAT / CMAT /MAT/ XAT/ ATMA are considered to be eligible for admission in terms of All India Seats conditions and availability to the fulfillment criteria. Those candidates need to fill online application form before the exam schedule.

MAH-CET 2018 Process

Step 1: Fill in the Application form

Students or candidate who willing to appear MAH CET examination need to fill up the application form. Currently application form is only available and filled up online only. The application fill up and apply date will be announced time to time by authority in advance. Students or application take note, multiple application for same candidate will be rejected.

The fee can be paid using:

  •          Online payment
  •          e-Challan

Step 2: Download MAH CET Admit Card

Once the applicants registered successfully for MAH CET will get portal access of admit cards before 7 days of schedule examination date. Admit card available for download and print from the official website too. Register candidate need to validate their username and password and any other criteria if required. Candidate get the unique registration number and other detail on admit cards.

Step 3: Appear for MAH CET Exam

MH-CET Exam schedule date will be announce well in advance and candidate will get enough time to registration and Admit card download. As per latest update next exam schedule will be in month of March. Exam Syllabus expected to cover the questions from sections like Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Aptitude and Logical / Abstract Reasoning.   

Step 4: Check MAH CET 2018 Result

After successful examination candidate can expect exam result in 7 days of time period. Candidate will get notify the exam result dates and update if any delay. The score cards will be publish and available for download on official website which can be downloaded with register UserID and password on portal. Post result-declaration, Passed aspirants will need to apply their preferred colleges through DTE.

How to Fill Online Application Form

MAH-CET 2018 Exam Centers

MAH CET 2018 will be held at various exam centers across all India. Upto 3 exam centers choice are given for candidate on the registration form, Candidate need to select any three centers as their preferred location on the online application form. Once  the centers selected and submitted it can not be change later on. Exam centers allocation done by DTE as per applicants preferences. Candidates must ensure that they reach the exam centre at least an hour before the reporting time

MAH-CET 2018 Important Dates

MAH-CET is one of the popular and top management entrance exams in India. As large numbers of bachelor degree holders students moving to Management study. There are thousands of students appear for the MAH-CET exam every year. MAH CET pass students get the admissions in best MBA colleges in the state. This common entrance test is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra state for getting  admissions to all the B-schools across Maharashtra.

As per latest update and announcement the dates of MAH CET 2018 have not been publish and expected very soon. Normally exam is conducted in March every year and this time also it is expected in registration will be start from last week of January 2018.
