ITBP Recruitment Job Details:
Post Name: GD Constable (Sports)
Total No. of Posts: 51 Posts
ITBP Recruitment Educational Qualification:
Matriculation or it’s equivalent from a recognized board.

Note:
(i) Only Matriculation certificate shall be accepted as a proof for establishing age of the candidates.
(ii) The candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions and should be in possession of all certificates on the date of Recruitment. Candidates not in possession of education/sports certificates on the date of Recruitment shall not be eligible for recruitment.
(iii) All educational certificates other than Central Board/State Board shall be accompanied with Government notifications declaring the equivalence of such qualification for service under Central Government.
Age Limit:18 to 23 years.
The cutoff date for determining the age will be 26/08/2020 i.e. the last date of submission of online applications.
Fee: Male candidates belonging to General (UR) or OBC category applying for recruitment to the post of Constable (GD) under Sports Quota should pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as application fee through the ITBP Recruitment website www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. Application received with any other mode of fee payment will be summarily rejected.
Selection Process: The selection of candidates for the post of Constables – GD posts through ITBP Constable Recruitment 2020 will be done on the basis of the following parameters:
- Documentation
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Detailed Medical Examination. (DME)
The candidates will have to pass each stage in order to be appointed as an ITBP Constable Candidates will be recruited through sports quota in the following sports:
- Wrestling (Female)
- Boxing (Male and Female)
- Archery (Male and Female)
- Kabaddi (Male)
- Sports Shooting (Male and Female)
- Volleyball (Male)
- Ice Hockey (Male)
Physically challenged candidates and ex-servicemen are not eligible for this particular recruitment of ITBP.
